LiDAR technology has proven its efficiency in providing precise aerial surveying. With laser sensors that can be mounted on UAV’s and other light aircraft, we can now generate 3D mapping data. The technical applications are steadily increasing and diverse. Use case for fields such as environmental, forestry, mining, civil engineering, archeology and corridor mapping abound and we are only scratching the surface for what these solutions can do.

GeoInspect will demonstrate YellowScan’s Surveyor, a new UAS LiDAR surveying solution at the Hempstown Quarry in Blessington.

With the highest accuracy and most dense geo-referenced point cloud data, 3cm accuracy at 300 000 shots/s, weighing just 1,5 kg.

At the day we will acquire with our Altura ATX-8 some lines of LiDAR data and afterwards demonstrate you the post processing of this data.

YellowScan develops lightweight UAV LiDAR systems. The Mapper was developed for UAV Mapping and was the first lightweight UAV LiDAR available on the market, with its 2.1kg. The Surveyor, LiDAR scanning system launched in February 2016, is designed for UAV Surveying needing a high precision and accuracy.
